When you donate a pair of shoes to Soles4Souls, it’s more than just cleaning out your closet – you’re helping the planet AND changing someone’s life.
Sustainability
By putting unwanted shoes and clothing to good use, textiles are kept out of landfills. Nearly 270 million tons of “garbage” hits our landfills every year. Since 2006, by collecting discarded shoes and clothing, all together Soles4Souls has kept 70 million pounds of textiles out of U.S. landfills.
Health
Shoes and clothes prevent injuries and illnesses, and they provide dignity to people in need.
Opportunity
Micro-entrepreneurs sell shoes to build businesses and support their families. Through our micro-enterprise program we send gently used shoes and clothing to entrepreneurs in developing countries, giving them the ability to start small businesses and break free from the cycle of poverty.
